This giving option has been popular with employees for the past several years. To make sure your gift is given to this fund, make sure you check the Virginia Tech Employee's Spouse and Dependent Scholarship Fund on your Staff and Faculty Annual Fund gift form. Without the employees' contributions, these $600 scholarships awarded to Virginia Tech employees' dependents or spouses attending the university, would not be possible. Each year the committee has had the opportunity to increase the number of scholarships provided and has since 2005 been able to increase the reward amount from $500 to $600.

The committee hopes that the scholarship program will continue to expand and that the award amount and number of scholarships will continue to increase.
