Making a Difference

As employees of Virginia Tech, we all share a commitment to the university. Every day we go to work, perform our jobs, and share in the community spirit that pervades every corner of campus. But we can do more. There is a long tradition among faculty and staff of making gifts to help fund important university initiatives. Making a financial commitment to the Staff and Faculty Annual Fund allows us to play an important role in the university beyond what is in our job descriptions. Supporting Virginia Tech is more than philanthropy. It is a matter of pride.

Every dollar counts

There are nearly 7,500 employees at Virginia Tech. If each of us makes even a small gift, together we can make a big difference. Gifts from faculty and staff are used throughout the university for research, scholarships, and general operating funds. You can make sure your gift goes to the area that is most important to you individually, but collectively, our commitment to the university sends a message to alumni, friends, and other groups that we believe in Virginia Tech. By giving to the Staff and Faculty Annual Fund, we can set an example that others will follow.
